Well, issue II has been an interesting one for us this time round. Three writers and 14 articles (or is it 13 now?), it has been an intense few weeks to get this one up off the ground. That said, I think that Issue II is better than Issue I, we had some practice with Issue I and we went back and refined our ideas, came up with new things and even better methods of producing them. We took a more heavy approach on the artistic world as a whole, rather than just digital works and entertainment. These articles are fuller and of more quality this time round and Issue III will only be getting better. We hope that this provides you with some insight into the contemporary world of art and how it's all done. We hope that it provides a good read to either all of it, or only the selected areas that you are interested in! With that said, enjoy Pages from Creativity, Issue II.

Ok, so recently I've been listening to some music, some old some new. Ever since I had to reformat my hard drive I lost a lot of my old favourite songs, and I've been redeveloping my playlist through artists rather than songs. It's still relatively small, but I've got most of my to personal top 500 now, only about another 150 to go. However, while developing this playlist via artists, there are new songs that I have recently found by artists, new ones they have released or just ones that I didn't download but decided to this time round. Several of these are the songs: Wake up - Rage Against The Machine Omen - The Prodigy F.R.E.S.H - Scribe These songs come in a bundle along with titles such as: Recapturing the Vibe - Hilltop Hoods The Way you Move - Outkast Electric Feel - MGMT and many more. These bands were all popular in their times, and with MGMT still being constantly in the top 100s around the world with their song Kids, Weekend Wars and of course Electric Feel there is no shortage of them. There is a reason that all these guys where popular, and they are among some of the most influential bands of all time, taking their places among ACDC, The Beetles, Led Zepplin, John Lennon, Elton John, John Farnham, Nirvana, Kylie Minogue, Blink 182, Eminem and more. Everyone one of these artists revolutionised the music industry, with Scribe, Hilltop Hoods, MGMT, RATM and Prodigy being no different. These guys combined music instruments with lyrics and synthensizers to create sounds unheard of before. Wake up - Rage Against the Machinewww.youtube.com/watch?v=B1T8xgHdMEMOmen - The Prodigywww.youtube.com/watch?v=YPQIgmlt4woF.R.E.S.H - Scribewww.youtube.com/watch?v=W9jdO6BK7dwRecapturing the Vibe - Hilltop Hoodswww.youtube.com/watch?v=6s7ywGSm6B4-------------------------------------------------------------- The Way you Move - Outkastwww.youtube.com/watch?v=j6-tYSyJS_IElectric Feel - MGMTwww.youtube.com/watch?v=UtUI5MC9tVM-------------------------------------------------------------- All of these songs are among the best to design to. They are just tasters of what these artists do. I definietly recomend The Prodigy's album Invader's must die which Omen is taken from, some of the songs are amazing. All of them revolutionary in their own genres and rights. Well worth the listen, and definitely call for some amazing inspiration when designing.

In this article we will be looking at 5 unknown artists, or artists that have not received even a portion of the recognition they're worthy of. I will review each artist's style of art and give reasons why they deserve much more attention. These articles are meant to inspire, show you art you've perhaps never seen, and get unknown designers a little bit more fame. Okay, originally this article was simply "5 Unknown Artists" but as I looked through dA, all I saw were space artists I had never heard of. (nope, not biased at all ) So perhaps next week I will generalize, or even theme it every issue, either way, enjoy the read. Phoenix-06Ok, Phoenix-06 was my personal favorite, I've never heard of him although he does have quite a few pageviews. His space art is some of the best I've ever seen, his space ship paintings are amazing, almost looks professionally rendered, and well.. his work speaks for itself, so check it out below. BaroBaro reminds me of alyn a little, except with a lot less pageviews. Not everything in his gallery is 1337sauce, but he does have some amazing pieces, have a look below to see a few of them. 19-1019-10 has some amazing work, he is a photomanip/painting/space artist, and can produce amazing work, he has quite a large gallery with a lot of what seems like scraps, but then, every few deviations, you see something amazing. Below are a few of those amazing deviations. Andr-SarAndr-Sar is a digital painter, and has a unique style when executing space art, here's a few of his best pieces. (in my opinion) BpaubaLast but not least we have bpauba, his work is very constant, and I see next to no scraps in his gallery. I wish I could show everything I liked here, but that'd fill up pages, so I will refrain and show only my favorites.
That's all, I hope this article has inspired you or shown you styles you'd never seen before, so until next time...

In this article you're all in for a treat.. I've searched for hours on dA finding the very best art I could, and ordered them from 10th to 1st. This art will astonish, shock, and amaze you.. and if it doesn't, well.. you need to get your attitude checked. This article contains mostly digital painting and 3D art, I will try to theme it as much as possible in each article. I will review every piece, and leave what I like and dislike (if anything) about them. 10. - Love is in the air
This piece has an amazing perspective and concept, a very unique design that will catch your eye. The only thing I wasn't too fond of is the space scene, I feel it's lacking and could of had better execution, but it made it to the top 10 didn't it? It's a great piece. 9. - PIRATESTYLE
Another unique digital painting, a lot of detail to be seen in this one, and it's an awesome idea in my opinion. The skull seems a bit over-scaled, but that's about all I see 'wrong' with it. 8. - Lost City IV
Very detailed digital painting + render, I really can't find anything wrong with this. I love the feel it gives off, and it flows rather well. 7. - Lost
This digital painting is unbelievable.. the tree looks almost real, lighting is top notch, and it was generally executed very well. It has a nice theme to it as well. 6. - NullFlow
Here we have a very unique C4D piece that dates to 2005, this is an impressive piece, even still. 5. - Into the Unknown
A very well executed digital painting, the reflections and detail on the water as well as the attention to detail on the boats make this an amazing piece. 4. - Storm
The feel of this piece is amazing, it flows well and has a nice perspective.. it's hard to believe it was made in 2005. 3. - Lethal submission
I was shocked when I first saw this, the high tech alien feel this gives off makes this a very unique piece definitely worth checking out. 2. - Empower
This piece is absolutely amazing.. the attention to detail, while having nothing repeated is unbelievable, I find it amazing that it was made in 2004 as well. Definitely worth a full view, it will leave you stunned. 1. - Worth enough?
This piece mixes both 3d and digital painting techniques, and is unbelievable.. it was made over the course of a year, and it definitely shows in the full view, where you can see all of the details in the village and landscapes in general. Until next time!

Instead of the usual "Latest Design Trends" Article, I decided to do something a little different for Issue 2. Here I'm going to write about deviantArt and how it's declining horribly. (in my opinion) I remember deviantArt 4 years ago.. such an awesome community. Where you could get CC on your artwork, find amazing resources, and get seen as a great designer, if you were so. The art at that time was amazing, every where you turned people were making unique and shocking designs, and improving. Now deviantArt has become somewhat of a joke, every day I see trendy pieces, and not in a good way.. not that being a trend whore is ever good anyway. Trend-WhoreI'll start this article off with listing a few silly trends, that for no reason aside from being a trended submission becomes popular. First - Eggs.. yes, eggs, I see time and time again people drawing silly faces on eggs, and it becomes an instant success.. it's nearly every day you can see such things on the dA main page. Below are examples of what I'm talking about. Second - Naruto anime art, anything Naruto is more or less *instant fame* it seems.. execution no longer applies. Below are examples of what I'm talking about. Third - Cosplay. This one probably gets to me the most, and it's an every day thing almost, for one, Cosplay is horrible in general, and the costumes are 99.9% of the time a failure, secondly the execution is never good, there's rarely postwork involved, and the photography in general, well.. sucks, and thirdly it's usually gay photographs. Below are examples of what I'm talking about. Warning: Immense amounts of faggotry is imminent. I could mention more, but that would take ages, and I don't want to bore you. Daily DeviationsNow I will talk about the Daily Deviation scene. This used to be a very, very good system, where unknown artists could get recognized, and amazing works were made a DD. Now it's simply, who can please dA the most? DD's are extremely controlled, as of a year or more ago, no matter how amazing your art is, if it's not a specific subject it will not, and I repeat will not get a DD. I've seen amazing art from designers with a lack of pageviews get suggested as DD's over and over, and over.. to no avail.. they are frowned upon because they don't suit dA's "style". So what then do get daily deviations? From what I've seen, as of the last year or so, DD's are extremely biased towards digital paintings, and photos or photo manipulations, but don't take my word for it, you can browse the thousands of DD's in the last few months and see for yourself. The VerdictIt seems the dA community as a whole is going down hill, everyone's getting shitter at design, everything's a big trend, and the community as a whole is rather immature. Trendwhoring ISN'T art, it's just that.. leaching off someone else's originality, and in dA's case it's seeing who can post the silliest crap first then trend whore it for months on end.. not even art in the slightest really. Right now, deviantArt as a community is miserable, it's been on a downhill slope for a 2-3 years now, and recently it's gotten so much worse. I've pondered recently why dA is still so popular, there needs to be a better art community, and in the future, I think there will be. In the state dA is in right now, I can't see it having a very bright future. /endrantNow I'm not some boring jack ass who thinks funny things getting popular is wrong, but these things aren't exactly funny, they're trended, and usually fail rather badly. And again, dA is an art community, if you want to do something funny that's great.. but try to execute it well aesthetically too.. it just makes it that much better. I think all of these reflect on the dA community as a whole.. dA seems to have become more of a joke rather than a place to get suggestions or fame from your art. These are all just my opinions.. and now I shall leave you, I imagine a lot of people hate me right about now, but I call it how I see it, so feel free to send me your hate via PM.

Ok, so general business and what is it? Our general business section is just stuff that's happened around here I guess. So, since issue 1 to issue 2, what has happened to VS that has made it even better? What has happened in the community and why does it rock? Well, there has been quite a bit between these issues that we have done around here. We all know that we promoted our first moderator position and gave it to Ausion`, we are quite happy with our selection so far! We have all already publicly congratulated him, but I think that this deserves a mention in our issue this time round. We have had several revalations, some that have come without surprise. Ape and Mark are having an affair: Love you really Ape. :3 It was either my mom...or my nephew...or Mark. Yea, we all know its happening. Pssh. We released patch 1.1.2 which did involve issue 1 and the general release of Pages from Creativity, which went down with enormous success. We are happy with the efforts that we have seen from the community thus far. We have had a large surge of support of the reputation system which we think was a good addition. There are many people already using it to great success with 2 colour names already. We have seen an increase in people putting themselves out in the community and this system will continue to be developed to improve better rewards, things that are more interesting. Wait for a few patches to see some upcoming developments that will change the atmosphere of reputation, so that abuses *cough*Spazwrighty*cough* will change their minds about this. What else is there? Very little general business has happened. I guess I'll share a few of the upcoming updates. We have been hasselling Dreggie to code us the points system, if you want this to occur quicker, hassell him too! I mean, we aren't going to pressure him into it as that's just rude But we are going to FORCE him to do it for us! Power to the people! Ok, so thats a little over the top, however Dreggie has been working hard to catch up on our coding requests, and the points system will be coming into effect soon. You will gain points from posting resources, trading and posting. With this, we are allowing shop systems to open up, so that you may buy/sell/trade resources for points, using either FR or LR rules. When points are released, the competition sector of Varia will take a heavy leaning towards it, focusing on The Dueling Arena, SotW and the Tournaments. We look forward to seeing this take a huge boom with the success of the Tournaments as well as the continued expressions of interest, will determine on how it is run upon it's collapse - actually, it'll probably be the same, just tighter. We look forward to seeing everyone posting around as well, it's been a great pleasure to read through everyone's banter having a really nice time! That's me, signing out.

Ok, so this a new section that we are going to do on games reviews. Using some of the games that I play, whether they be old or new. Some of these may be online games, flash games or even mainstream games. This issue is: Command and Conquer: Kane's WrathOk, so while an old game, it's still one that most people don't experience. However, my friend's peer pressured me into it, and it's been worth every cent that I paid that day. Don't get me wrong, there are ups and downs to this game - yet, it's challenging, fast paced and amazing! After installing it, and loading it up I was greeted by something that I was rather surprised about with most games like this. There was no starting cinematic, no short movie, no advertising even for the companies that contributed to this game. It went from the warning screen to the main menu. This is the first game that I have witnessed ever to do this, something that has always bugged me. Sure, the first time you see a cinematic; it's cool, but you don't want to have to load it EVERY TIME! Blizzard's World of Warcraft mastered this with an option to watch the cinematics after the first view, rather than being forced. Ok, so actual game play? First impressions was that it was a standard Command and Conquer game, and to be honest, the game play is just that. It's a Command and Conquer game, which is FUCKING AWSOME! Why do people play Command and Conquer games? Cause it's a completely new way to tackle the RTS system. There are no workers, there is very little resources, relying on Money and Energy, both easy to make. Units, buildings are all quick, the longest taking 40 seconds to build, and using a control zone this means that large bases are difficult to build, which eliminates the base building from RTS games. However, what this does have is that turtle lovers, the guys who build lots of defense and just sit behind their walls and cheap shot the game - can no longer do this. Before meeting the C&C style of RTS, this was my tactic. I never rushed, I never stormed. I built a wall and shot people from behind it, the way I like it. Higher chance of winning, and a lot more fun, in my opinion. However, the idea of walls is non - existent in this game, and turrets are hardly worth the cost + power consumption that they take. The best strategy to this game is to go all out aggressive and build a storming team ASAP, messing around at the beginning without achieving anything is completely out of the option with this fast pace game. Maps are small, with your oponent just out of your sight, so you got to move fast. The graphics of Kane's Wrath are very nice. The cinematics within the Campaign mode are actually real actors, eliminating digitally rendered people, EA went all out and called in Hollywood baby! The ingame playing fields are amazing, paying attention to detail. While they aren't as good as what you would see in an FPS game such as Crysis, these are the best RTS graphics that I have seen, with the building exploding rather than sinking through the ground as many other RTS games promote. I had a look the other day at Global Campaign, where it's more strategy, without the Real Time aspect - it turns into a turn based strategy where you conquer the planet through military or political means. You build bases and deploy strike forces, when you enter a combat position you have the option of turning on AI and letting it auto play, or you can take a hand and fight Real Time, taking the game back to RTS. They warn this option is for experienced players of C&C, I ignored this warning and as a result, even on Medium difficulty - I got slaughtered in all of 15 turns. C&C: Kane's Wrath offers online play, where you can play as sub-factions, and fight your oponents. The battles can be recorded and uploaded automatically to their website where anyone can see the battle taking place. The graphics, and speed are not sacrificed in order to make this work, when launching super weapons, you still maintain a constant 100FPS with ease. This game never ceases to amaze me, with something interesting and exciting for each mission in Campaign or Global Conquest. If you do get bored, there is always Skirmishes or online play for you to dominate. This game receives my highest recomendations for purchasing, you won't be disapointed (unless you hate RTS, then you should be shot).

Here we are interviewing tigaer! A digital painter and landscaper, he is a very talented designer and was leading terragen artwork on deviantArt in it's day. Now he focuses more on digital painting and Photography. He's taken time to answer each of my questions with detail, so enjoy the read. So first off, please introduce yourself in your own words.Alright, my name is Christian Hecker... also known as 'tigaer' in various gfx communities. I live in Nuremberg, Germany and the weather is great here these days. Right now I'm freelancing in the field of digital art. Especially concept art and digital painting. How did you get started with design? What inspired you?Well, I'm 27 now and remember that I always had lots of fun drawing things. Unfortunately I never got the right connection to it. Technique wise I mean. Stuff like perspective. I had no one in my family who really did something artistic... so for a long time I doodled around without to produce something... half decent. When I was older I got my first PC. Around 1996 or so. There I discovered what digital is able to do. I found it interesting to play around in Corel Photopaint. It was a complete new world for me. Later then I met someone who taught me several basics in Photoshop. And I soon started to a true love relationship with Photoshop. =) Even today I’m still amazed at what it can do. Over the years I spent a lot of time to learn how to work with it. Then I got me a gfx tablet since then I'm focusing on painting and techniques. Inspiration wise I'm influenced by sci-fi a lot. StarWars is a big one for me. Also fantasy plays a role. =) Movies, games and books... everything can be a source for inspiration. What made you choose Terragen and Landscape art specifically?Good old Terragen. Landscapes... even as a small child I knew when I had quite a sight in front of me. I always loved big vistas. Mountains... forests... gets me going. I recently visited a friend in the alps... you can imagine that the mountains there are like heaven for me. =) Great scale. Immediately makes me paint pictures in my head. Terragen, a while ago, was my tool of choice because it was easy to use. There were tons of tutorials out there that helped to create certain effects I wanted in my pics. Sunbeams for example. Terragen helped me to understand how atmosphere and lighting works. That helps me now when I work with photo plates or blank painting. Back then Terragen delivered me a plate picture I was able to work on. I'm still using base picture that help me to get started on a project. But the tools changed since back then. What songs do you listen to while designing?Hehe, good question! I rarely work on stuff without music. These days it's the Battlestar Galactica soundtrack from Bear McCreary. The finale just happened and it was practically the only tv series I followed over the years. The soundtrack was phenomenal! Aside of that it's usually alternative rock. R.E.M., Pearl Jam, Third Eye Blind... stuff like that. =) Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years in terms of designing?Tough one. I see tons of extremely talented people on cgtalk for example and always think "man these guys are amazing...". I said the same thing 5 years ago. I never thought I would be able to create the pics I’m creating now. And still... there are people that shoot the bird with their work. As an artist you're always striving for more. You at least should. An artist who is happy with what he is doing... won't be a good artist in the future. So I hope i'll get the chance to work in a studio environment sometime within the next 5 yrs. That will push ideas even further, since you will be influenced by ideas and techniques of other great artists. What's your opinion on the overall state of dA right now, do you agree with the fact dA is going downhill?Another tough one. Well I'm on DA for a very long time now. Even was a gallery director in 2004 (i think lol - getting old here). DA has gone through a lot of changes. Whenever someone asks me about DA then my only answer is that DA has grown too big. The fact that everyone can upload everything and as much as he wants... never helped. So I would have restricted the upload to one pic per day. Even if that may be too soft. One pic per week would make everyone think about what to upload. And the artists also have more time to think about their work. On the other hand. I think the guys behind DA really know what they want. It's a business now. Nothing else. They want cash. And that means that they can't always do what would be the best for the artist. So for the individual artist... it's downhill. For the masses it's neither down or up... it got stuck in the middle. The new 'critique' feature is a nice thing for example. But it only works for you when you invest cash into DA. Critique should be allowed by everyone for everyone. So... i'm still saying... DA is too big. It's not really controllable anymore. For postwork on your Terragen pieces, do you prefer to digitally enhance them in Photoshop or custom paint details yourself?Basically all me Terragen works went through photoshop. In the early days, when I wasn't too good with manipulation or painting, I only changed colors or added a few layers and blended them together. In retrospective the results were pretty crappy. =D But you have to start somewhere to get somewhere. Terragen were the 'mouse' days so to say. Now with the tablet there are far more possibilities. So back then I was not really able to paint much. You surely know what I mean... painting with mouse is like painting with a brick in your hand. Which do you prefer, traditional or digital methods of designing? Here I can only say digital. Because it's the only thing I know. I have a lot of respect for people who use traditional methods. That's where it all came from. There are still lots of artists in the movie/games industry who work traditional. And why not? Their results are equally good as the results from their digital colleagues. Syd Mead is a great example. Ok he's not the youngest anymore, but man... his work is crazy amazing. He basically revolutionized concept art in general. Not alone... but he played a big role in it. One of the first 'concept artists'. What's your take on Vue? Have you tried it, and if so, do you prefer it over terragen?Ah I waited for that one. =D Yes, Vue became my Terragen over the last 2 yrs. I'm using it a lot now. With the multicore technology for processors it's pretty easy to produce some good results with vue within a relatively short time. I just got me a new machine and Vue renders my scenes even faster. Vue, for me, has all the strengths of Terragen... plus the 'pro' bonus. A lot of big vfx studios jumped on the train and realized the potential of vue. They used it indy 4, pirates of the carribbean 2... just to name a few. A big reason to switch to vue. It's far more respected than terragen will ever be... I fear. The fact that you can export/import custom models and the possibility to work directly with maya or max... a big deal. Especially for the big vfx studios. So yes, vue is clearly a weapon of choice for my work. What's your take on design as a whole, generally speaking, what do you view it as right now for you?Well design... and how you understand it... is, I would say, a matter of taste. When it comes to the things I do then I always try to create worlds that look appealing and spawn pictures, or even stories, in the heads of the viewers. So what I try to accomplish is to show places that you will probably never see with your own eyes. I hope to get me a position in a studio with the things I'm doing. So I'm taking the stuff I do artistically very serious. Other than design, what other things do you like doing?Photography is something that helps me to train my eye in things like composition. Especially when it comes to colors. So photography is a hobby of mine. Beside that i'm a huge movies fan and try go watch movies as often as I can. It's always better to see a good movie on the big screen. It's a lot of fun! Especially studying the vfx. Hehe. Aside of thaaaaat... I just got me a guitar a few months ago and so I'm learning that as well. I'm getting better and better. Favorite Color?Light Blue Sometimes pure black Mostly it's blue tones. If you had any super powers what would they be?Oh man... *thinks*... Flying. I'm a big fan of birds. I have some at home... a parakeet (more than 5 yrs now, right here on my desk) and 3 zebrafinches (2 yrs now). =) They drive me crazy sometimes. But I love them. Is the glass half empty or half full? Both ;p Thanks for the interview! Any last words before we sign off?First of all I hope it'll be a fun read! To everyone who is currently trying him/herself in artistic work. Especially in our field. It's hard work to get a decent level of skill! But if your heart is big enough to keep you at it... you will see some nice results over time. Just don't give up too easily.

The Times They Are A-Changin'
A year ago, it was all about Facebook and how it was the new social thing, this time even more money was to be made.
Three years ago, MySpace had taken the world by storm, and revolutionized the internet as kids saw it. Not only could the internet be a "social thing", but it also could make money.
Five years ago, the only social normalities of the internet were chat rooms, instant messengers, and forums. Thought to be the new way of making money and a way to get the real people who had money: kids. And it flopped.
10 years ago, Google had just come onto the scene, causing a real uproar. Google showed it _is_ possible to make money on the internet with their AdWords system.
12 years ago, Netscape was battling it out with Microsoft's Internet Explorer, and much legalities ensued.
16 years ago, HTML was finalized, and the internet as we know it today was born. There were several milestones before this one, but this was the starting domino for events that followed.
Through its many different forms the internet has seen several trends, such as Web 2.0, AJAX, and now social networking. Each having its desired effect, that is causing the internet to grow at an extreme rate. The newest one on the scene that everyone seems to care about is called "Twitter", a microblogging site, that seems to be catching fire everywhere. There are several words that seem to follow it around such as "tweeting" and "hashtags", but they can easily be translated into "posting" and "tags". For instance, if I was tweeting something with the hashtag graphic design, all that really meant is I posted something on Twitter with the tag #graphic.design.
Now, for some, this may seem stupid. Why would you want to do that? There is more to Twitter than just posting "I'm taking a piss at McDonald's". For some it is actually a tool to not only for getting to know users, but gathering intelligence as well. An example is easily found from @jordyntaylor, a friend of mine (and follower) on Twitter. "RT @creattica: 50 Totally Free Lessons in Graphic Design Theoryhttp://ow.ly/1V8F". RT stands for Re Tweet, meaning that Jordyn liked @creattica's tweet, and she RT'd it.
How will it turn out though? Is is the next social thing, another trend? Or is it something more?

Demon Days: Live at the Manchester Opera House
This month I am going to be doing a review on not an album or a movie, but both. That is an album made into a live concert. Some may think that isn't the sort of thing that would interest them, that it would may be in fact bore them, well I am happy to inform you that you are very, very wrong. Demon Days: Live at the Manchester Opera House is the recreation of the Gorillaz's Demon Days (released in 2005) in not only a musical sense, but theatrically as well. For those who have seen Nine Inch Nails' Live Beside You in Time, regardless of whether you liked or disliked that, it is like that but redone to complete perfection.
You travel through out the world of the Gorillaz, from the depths of the "Windmill, windmill for the land" all the way to "a mountain called 'Monkey'", and what a splendid journey indeed. Flashy lights, excellent in-house orchestra, you can finally understand the inner-workings of the great musical masterpiece of Demon Days. I myself am actually transcoding it for my iPod so that I can experience it anywhere I go, and share it with others. See the children sing, the orchestra conduct, the choir spray their spirit, and the mastermind behind the Gorillaz express his love for his music all the way "to the sun".
I give Demon Days: Live at the Manchester Opera House 5/5 monkey heads for being a complete visual and musical masterpiece.

Flame Ablaze Strays
by XeroCint Copyright 2009 Thump-ump. All feeling was now lost. Thump-ump. Anger flowed without anything loving. Thump-ump. Alex's fist went against Lance's face. The heart beating stopped ubruptly. Lance lay in a cool crimson pool of blood. Barely thinking, Alex knew that the bully was dead. Doing nothing, Alex stood there with a blank expression, asking himself what had led him to such drastic means. He bore several scars that represented Lance's dominance and desecration towards Alex. He who was now laying in the school hallways, only dominating the tile beneath him. Alex had at long last lost all invisibility, for all students poured around him, Alex now swimming in their inconsiderate filth. A faint glimmer catches Alex's eye, and he peers out of the window in which it came. Fields of marijuana growing, along with the school's income stared back at him. Luckily, the Vermont public education system turned to such a cash crop, saving the school from bankruptcy. Feelings of horror stretched across their make-up covered, gel plastered heads. Finally, they fear him.
A slight utterance arose in Alex, the very entity that not only suggested, but persuaded Alex to commit the crime. It crisply whispered, "It is done, we must escape. Let GO," and it was done. Light melted the short, slender, and freckled brunette down and a new formation grew. This thing was much taller than the average 13 year old. The creation was a 16 year old male and was somewhere above the 6' range. The teenager seemed slightly of some sort of Asian descent, with a deep black hair which only intensified his bright blue eyes. Hair long in length, reaching almost his shoulders, he had it back in a ponytail. As soon as he finished forming, he vanished.
Everything was still in the school now, faces full of shock and fear gleaned on thier heads. An open hand hovered over a woman's mouth, and all eyes were wide without blinking. The pool of blood was beginning to stain the sheet-white face of the boy, and as the rats began to appear, the slowly eclipsing sun made its last shine and an instant darkness fell upon all the area. Crusted dirt pulled tufts of fur together on the large rats, an caused them to fidget in pain as they nibbled away at the soft feeling of - then a solid light shown in their eyes and they scurried away. A shadow cast down upon the body and slowly found its dreaded conclusion. The shadow's owner fell to her knees and wept at the boy's feet.
Soon, Alex saw what was happening, lockers, although highly intelligible were rushing by. The slight hues of a light blue were boring him, and diverted his attention to stopping his feet. Finding it to be impossible, Alex tried to scream, and no cry escaped his pubescent throat. He tried kicking, flailing, every possible movement he could imagine, and nothing came of it. All he could do was watch what the new force controlling his body was seeing. And he did not like it.
