If it is a bash you want, then you're going to get it heh. But really,if you close them then nobody can have any input on what they want to say. For instance, that shoutbox thread, I wanted to say how it'd be annoying and just stupid, etc. That may just be my opinion though... (If you lock it soon enough ).

As annoying as I find you, this I agree with. And I mentioned it when mD was around.. It seriously is annoying as hell. Just leave the topic(s) open for a little while, meanign a day or two, unless it's a bug or something for a certain browser, and is fixed or shit.. ya know

Heh, we close them cause we don't really see a need to continue the discussion I guess. I don't know, I do it as well as Sunjo The Shoutbox is a completely non - negotiable topic, VS won't have one (using as example), so why continue the discussion? lol Just some justification on it.

Yeah but with some things you guys are probably completely bias about changing/adding something, but everyone else may like it, so then allowing people to give their input allows you to see what people like/want.. Making the place more user-friendly.

I think of any Sunjo/Sven related site as a dictatorship society, they're always right. Basically, they pulled an Apple.

tbh, this forum is the most susceptible to user feedback.. I haven't seen ANY other forum that actively changes things like us.
You all wanted: New thread icons New PM icons New rank icons Clearer old/new difference (yes, I fixed them despite saying I wouldn't) Fish in new PM image (even if I thought it was stupid) Affiliation (yes, we've designed a table for it, just waiting a bit for someone to get back with us)
Just to name a few of the suggestions I got and changed/added.

Yeah, but you can't really deny you meant truth in the first part. Otherwise you'd given a better indication that it was a joke, rather than saying we think we're always right?

It is their way or the highway in most cases but that's definitely a good thing. Pushover admins = garbage forums. We don't always know what's best and sometimes what's best is a sacrifice to get a certain look and feel.
They have been taking some suggestions though. To be honest I didn't expect to see a change to the spheres. Most forums would have said "maybe" and left it at that.
The locks are annoying though. =P

I'm actually pretty surprised over these comments, I thought of us actually listening to people as a strong point of our's.
I mean, some ideas are completely and utterly stupid.. like the shoutbox idea.. of course we're going to pfft that off and not give it a second thought.. we've had years of experience of what makes an active/good forum and that's one thing that can destroy a forum.
Then there's code chat which we said we'd open if more coders come about.. which was a fair decision imo.
Then lastly the fish idea, I removed it because it was low quality, and as I said - a new one may be designed in the future.
Pretty much everything other than those 3 we've accepted and changed. I just don't see any facts to back up these claims.

That was slightly sarcastic as well, but in a lot of cases it is your way, and like Spektral said, it is better to be more uptight about some things. Edit: I think someone is getting defensive...
